
Ciabhan
Caoimhín, Caemfind, Cáemgem, Caomhán, Ciabhan, Cian
Ciabhan (Cian, Caoimhín,
Caemfind, Cáemgem, Caomhán) was the shamanic magician healer son of the Tuatha
De Danaan, Celtic god of medicine Diancecht.
When he was betrothed to
the Celtic nutmeat, cow goddess Eithne, her father locked her away in a tower
because he did not want his grandsons to replace him. Cian rescued her and they
were married.

When the Cailleach crone hag tried to drown her
because she was envious of her fertile loveliness, Eithne became the fair haired
Cliodna and escaped once more to the Otherworld with her husband soulmate Cian
who became Ciabhan.
Gifted with an abundance
of curly hair, Ciabhan won renown as "The Cherished One of Gentle Birth" and
"The Beautiful Protector".
An exceptionally beautiful
Celtic romantic hero god, Ciabhan sailed to the Land of Promise in a copper
curragh and returned to Ireland with Cliodna...
